Project Info > Love De Nîmes
This one is dwelling upon Blue Jeans. In the context of recent eco-friendliness vs Primark-KO-consumtion debates, fashion stylist Irmela Schwengler grabbed a bunch of jeans in no matter what condition and shape. She sewed a lot, dyed and stapled and finally upcycled those pieces into wearable singletons.
LOVE DE NÎMES is a slow fashion customization project that we photographed in a suburbian setting called Asemwaldsiedlung……maybe just because this one also looks kind of stapled.
